Phil Ambros has been playing drums since he was nine years old. He was fortunate to have befriended both percussionist legends Buddy Rich and Gene Krupa. They took Phil under their wings and taught him to play like a world class drummer. When Phil does his Buddy Rich style solo during Billy's show, you will be awed at his blazing speed and approach to the drum set. Phil has a talent to play at a whisper, to a thunder.

Phil's career began at the famous Copa Cabana in NYC. He had the honor to play for some of the greatest names in show business, yes even Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., Bobby Darin, Louie Prima to name a few.

Come see Billy as "The Chairman Of The Board" featuring Phil Ambros as bandleader. Phil aims to make Billy's show as realistic as the show that he and Buddy Rich would have backed up Frank himself. Let it be said that there will only be one Frank Sinatra and Buddy Rich, but when you see Billy and Phil working together you would swear that Buddy and Ol'e Blue Eyes was back!
